Hi, I have not posted much lately, too lazy I guess. I am working at home today, so Here I am goofing off already. Jeez, no concentration. The weather here is gorgeous today. Big storms last night. I seem to be doing everything except getting this job done. Back to it, I hope!!

Well, I have had two very successful weeks on Ebay. One person bid on the last of my neighbors silver and I got a very good price for it. I also only have to send one box. I have a few things up this week of my own, but nothing going on yet.

Trying to find a new chair, but no luck. I might just have my old one cleaned. Chairs are very pricey.

Went to a great program at the local community college. A musical review kind of performance. All the proceeds go to the college. Worth every penny. I treated my friends and it was a nice diversion.

I didn't realize it had been a while since I said hi to the journal. Since yesterday, I have been dealing with the sterling I am selling for one of my neighbors on Ebay. Since I have not done this much since last year about this time, I had to get new or update some auction software and tried a new one that does scary things to my computer, but is great at end of auction emails. I am sure it is going to be history soon though. It gives too many scary messages and locks up my computer. Besides the other software is free! This one is 30 day trial, which is a big mistake on their part, LOL. Had a very successful week though. Better than I thought. I only put 6 back up that did not reach their reserves. 10 auctions and less is what I will do from now on, just so it is real easy. My regular job is 40 hours a week. That is enough.

I got a small raise, but since we are non-profit, that was the max the budget would give. I am content I think. Friend/boss was very receptive and is lightening my workload somewhat. I am now doing things I was not hired for, so since I have tons of bookkeeping experience, he is trying to raise the pay. Oh, well, Social Security will be here soon enough.

That's it from my boring life. No bridge for weeks now. It really sucks here so online is it for now.

Well I just got done putting a bunch of auctions up on Ebay. I am selling some silver for a neighbor. I have not done this for a year, and I forgot how much work it is. This is why I will not do it for less than 50%. Actually, I don't want to do it again for anyone else. She calls me every day asking how much it's worth. Get real! It's worth whatever someone will pay for it.

I have some things of my own that I want to get rid of, but I think it will be a while before I do more.

Looks like everything is going pretty well this weekend.

Tomorrow, I have nothing planned, and that's what I'm going to do.

Called the cops on the neighbors again yesterday. Was I ever that stupid? Why can't people be considerate of others?

We got another first today. Three out of 4 we placed in this week. Pretty good. I am glad for my friend and me too. Played some good bridge and got a few points. Our friends are gone back to Texas. Been a busy week.

Another successful day at the bridge table. We got another first. My friend from Tucson came in yesterday and today we kicked butt!! Always nice to win!! Another day tomorrow. Either way, it has been nice tournament so far.

Company just left. We are going over to our other friends house in a little while for the "Big Game" Let's see, it only lasts 15 minutes, am I right?

Hi all. Company from Texas not here yet. They are parking their RV at our friends house. My friend is flying in on Tuesday from Tucson. He's coming for Bridge and Fishing and probably fishing from bridge, who knows. Never just say "come visit" unless you really mean it!! LOL.

My neighbor's sister in law just came over and handed me a set of old sterling silver to sell on Ebay!! I had told her to pull it from her garage sale, along with some old linens so people would not take advantage of her and get it for pennies. She appreciated my honesty and offered it to me to sell for her. I told her I would not do it for less than 50% due to the fact that it is so time consuming and my dig camera cost me a lot of money, lol. I have not sold on Ebay since last year when I helped a friend with her aunt's estate. That definitely paid for my camera. I am working full time now though, so time is precious. Should be fun though. Sure pays to be honest. Can't commit until after the 8th when company leaves, but might sell a full set of sterling that was my grandmother's if this is lucrative. Yuck, trips to the post office again. Will keep you posted. This is a nice little sideline if you aren't independently wealthy. Anyone have any experience with this?

Hi, another Monday, Not much happening around here until next week when my friend arrives from Tucson to play bridge and go fishing. Other friends arriving from Texas. Why do they all come at the same time?
